Description

From the �Geological� series, the viewer is led to try and resolve the ambiguous nature of both the scale of the image and its content. Perhaps only by seeing the small tuft of grass near the top can one then orientate oneself and recognise that the subject is made of rocks angled by enormous forces and permeated by intrusions of white quartz along ancient strata stained by richly coloured algae.
